Meet Your Therapists
This is a chance for you to meet the therapists at The Rainbow Hub and get to know them a little bit more. All our Play Therapists are clinically trained, registered with PTUK, and attend monthly clinical supervision.
Our Story
In September 2024, Emily took the plunge to open her first private practice as she needed to continue working with a child from school, however, the funding through school had finished. This meant that either this child stopped therapy midway through his journey, or, Emily found a way for this to continue. She opened up an office and play room in the centre of Lancaster and slowly over the coming months became busier with referrals. In March 2025, Charlotte started working with Emily one afternoon a week, until they made the decision to join together and open a bigger space meaning they'd be able to see more children and families each week.
This quickly turned into the hub as we know now it, a therapy and well-being space filled with practitioners from so many areas. We have 4 therapy rooms, a yoga studio, a massage room, reiki room, and an adult therapy space! In January 2026 we officially opened the doors to our Morecambe Bay hub and we can't wait to welcome you to our new home.
Meet The Team
Emily is the founder of The Rainbow Hub and is an Accredited Play Therapist. She is also a Level 1 Filial Therapist and Relational Young Person Therapist. She works 1:1 with children and young people from ages 3 - 25 years. Emily believes in play as the greatest form of communication for children.
Charlotte is co-owner of The Rainbow Hub and is also an Accredited Play Therapist and Level 1 Filial Therapist. She is passionate about using creative arts with children to delve deeper into their unconsious mind. Charlotte works with children 1:1 from ages 3 - 13 years.
Together they want to provide the best specialist therapy care in the area, by dedicating their time to the families who really matter
